Moving to a new home

When you move you need a contract for both electricity retail and distribution to your new apartment. In addition to the retail contract, Omavoima will take care of making the notification of change of address to the distribution system operator in order to make the distribution contract and to connect the electricity.

When moving, please always remember to contact us at least three working days before the date of moving whether you move from an apartment or into an apartment. Please note that in the districts of the distribution system operators Vakka-Suomen Voima and Rauman Energia, the electricity will be connected on the starting date of the electricity contract at approximately 11:00 am.

We will send either a paper invoice or an e-invoice. An e-invoice is an electronic invoice which you will receive electronically to your online banking system. The due date of your invoice is the 23rd of each month. The term of payment is 14 days and the interest for late payment is determined in accordance with the Finnish Interest Act (korkolaki). The invoicing is done after electricity use so it is based on true consumption.


OMA Huoleton

This is a non-fixed-term contract. OMA Huoleton is an easy choice if you do not want to worry about your electricity contracts on a regular basis. It is our most popular electricity product.

OMA 12 kk

The contract has a fixed term of 12 months. In the OMA 12 kk contract, the price remains the same for the entire period of contract. You will receive a new offer from us a month before the termination of the fixed-term contract at the latest.


Priima is a non-fixed-term contract. Priima is a product where the price changes on an hourly basis depending on the market price of the Nord Pool Spot, Finnish bidding area. The price in the Priima contract consist of a fixed charge and energy prices. The monthly price is calculated on the basis of the actual market price and electricity use. Priima customers can also make short fixed terms and prices by themselves. Take a look to our Live-service.
